Stock ROM Installation Guide with LG flashtool

First, turn off your phone and press and hold the volume key to connect it to your computer. “Download mode” should appear on the phone screen. If the volume does not work, try the same procedure with the volume mute key.

1:Open the LG flash tool program and set it as in the following photo.



2: click on the folder icon next to the“Select kdz file” section and download it .find the kdz file and click the “Open” button. The LG flashtool program will be as in the photo below.



Now you have to choose “normal Flash” or “CSE flash”? The difference between “normal flash” and “CSE flash” is that it does not delete any data on your phone, it only upgrades the system, and "CSE flash" does a clean installation by deleting all the files on your phone. If you are going to drop your Android version, you should definitely do “CSE flash”, but if you are going to upgrade your Android version, you can use the “normal flash” option.

3:just click on the “Start” button on this screen.



4:finally, click “OK” button without making any changes to this screen.



After clicking on the “OK” button, the LG Mobile Support Tool application will open automatically on your computer and your installation will start from the LG Mobile Support Tool. When the LG Mobile Support Tool finishes loading, you can take your phone off the computer. * Use your new operating system goodbye .

You can download new and old versions of Nougat, marshmallows and Lollipop software for the LG G4 as Stock and install it on your phone.

In general, you can download up – to – date Stock KZ software for h815 – H815T – H815P – H818N-H818T-H811 models.

Once you installed the LGUP_LSxx.msi file, You should locate the DLL file at:
“C:\Program Files(X86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\xxxx”

Notes, You Should not use KingRoot to root the ZV7 firmware, The kingroot cause a boot loop issue.
If your current Software is ZV5, You can use the ZV5 or ZV7 software. But You can not flash a ZV5 firmware on a LS770 model with ZV7 software.

I have a hard bricked LG G4 H815 on Qualcomm HSUSB QDLOAD 9008 mode.
I've read a lot of unbricking tutorials of LG G3, Xiaomi MI5 etc... and the only way to get my G4 restored is to use QFIL and the appropriate files to G4.

I couldn't find the prog_emmc_firehose_8992.mbn file for LG G4

Could you please show me how to generate it from another G4 or where to find this file ?
